Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Detail Detective ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

Description of Service

Detail Detective is a mobile application that provides observation training exercises through audio-guided questions. The App helps users improve their awareness, memory, and attention to detail.

License and Use

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:

• Download and install the App on your personal device(s)
• Use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes

Restrictions

You agree not to:

• Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the App
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Remove any copyright or proprietary notices
• Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App
• Use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the App

Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Detail Detective—including software code, the question database, interface design, graphics, visual elements, and documentation—are owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

User Labels and Local Data

• The App allows you to add custom labels to existing questions for personal organization.
• You cannot create new questions; you can only add labels to questions provided in the App.
• Labels, training programs, session tags, and other data are stored locally on your device.
• We do not access, collect, or store any of your labels or data.
• You are responsible for backing up your local data if needed.
• All user data remains under your complete control and is never transmitted to us.

Payment and Refunds

Detail Detective is offered as a one-time purchase. Payment terms are governed by the app store through which you purchased the App. Refund policies are determined by the respective app store.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or accuracy of results.

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the App will meet your specific requirements.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES—including loss of profits, data, use, or business interruption—arising out of or related to your use of the App.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from:

• Your use of the App
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of third-party rights

Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. The App operates completely offline.

Updates and Modifications

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the App, update these Terms, and release new versions. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend access immediately if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App ends, you must delete it from your device, and local data may be lost.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions.

Dispute Resolution

Disputes arising from these Terms or the App shall be resolved through courts of competent jurisdiction in Sweden.

Severability

If a provision is unenforceable or invalid, it will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and remaining provisions stay in effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding use of the App and supersede prior agreements and understandings.
