Introduction

Detail Detective ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our mobile application.

Data Collection

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.

Detail Detective operates without an account or developer-operated server. The app:

• Does not require an internet connection for core training or local data storage
• Does not create user accounts
• Does not transmit data to DueCue or a developer-operated server
• Does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking services
• Does not collect location data (GPS)
• Reads only a CSV file you explicitly select for import

Local Data Storage

All data generated by your use of Detail Detective is stored locally on your device, including:

• Training session history
• Question responses and scores
• Statistics and performance data
• User preferences and settings
• Question labels, session tags, location profiles, and training programs

CSV exports are written locally. Data leaves the app only when you deliberately choose a destination in the system share sheet; the app does not send a copy to DueCue.

Data Deletion

You can delete all app data at any time by:

1. Uninstalling the app from your device
2. Using the "Reset Statistics" option in the app settings to clear all session data and statistics
3. Using the "Clear Question History" option in the app settings to remove question response history
4. Clearing app data through your device's system settings

Third-Party and Operating-System Services

Detail Detective uses operating-system services for notifications, text-to-speech, file selection, sharing, and opening support links. The app does not include developer-operated analytics, advertising, tracking, accounts, or cloud synchronization.

Text-to-Speech

The app asks the operating system's selected text-to-speech engine to read questions. Detail Detective does not request a TTS permission or transmit the question to DueCue. A device or third-party TTS engine may have its own processing, network, and privacy behavior.

Permissions

Detail Detective may request optional notification permission only when you enable training reminders.

CSV import uses the system file picker and CSV export uses the system share sheet; these provide access only to items you choose and do not require broad file access. Text-to-speech does not require an app permission.

The app does not request location, microphone, camera, contacts, or broad storage permissions.

Children's Privacy

Detail Detective does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. Since we do not collect any data, the app is compliant with COPPA.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted in the app and the "Last Updated" date will be revised. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.

Your Rights

Since we do not collect or store your personal data, there is no data for us to share, modify, or delete. All data is stored locally on your device and is under your complete control.
